Their presence indicates there are carbohydrates, fats or proteins to serve as a source of food.<\/p>\n<p><b>Anaerobic<\/b> organism\u00a0is any\u00a0<a title=\"Organism\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Organism\">organism<\/a>\u00a0that does not require\u00a0<a title=\"Oxygen\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Oxygen\">oxygen<\/a>\u00a0for growth. It may react negatively or even die if oxygen is present, which means that it can perform its bodily functions better in the absence of oxygen.
